Initial Exam
_______________
The initial exam includes a consultation and will take about forty minutes of your time. The exam has three different levels and complexity will depend on your main complaint(s). A diagnosis will be available immediately. A report of findings is scheduled at checkout after your first visit. That appointment will disclose details surrounding a treatment plan, scheduling, and financial/insurance specifics.
“I have never been to a chiropractor where I felt more comfortable and cared for! Dr. Rankin makes you feel right at home and above all cares about your whole being. She is beyond amazing and I am so thankful for her!”
Financing & Payments
_______________
Many patients would like to know what type of financial commitment applies before making their first appointment. While this is fair and understandable, it is very difficult to make that kind of estimate without first completing a consultation, exam, and gathering insurance information. See the drop down for most commonly asked questions. Please call Dr. Rankin with specific questions.
Does the clinic take my insurance?
South Metro Wellness Clinic accepts every insurance company that allows out of network billing. Dr. Rankin will call your insurance carrier after your first visit and verify your plan details with you at the report of findings. Commonly we see coverage for patients with Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Medica, and United Health Care. Insurance companies are billed for treatment after patients accept care and services are rendered.
Is care affordable for non insurance patients?
Affordable care is always a priority at South Metro Wellness Clinic. Chiropractic care plans are formulated with respect to budget every week in this office. Over sixty percent of our practice is self pay patients. Monthly or per visit care plans are negotiated at the report of findings before treatment is accepted. Payment plans are flexible.
What if I was in a car accident?
Your auto insurance carrier is billed for your personal injury claim under your PIP (Personal injury protection) policy. Auto accident patients never pay out of pocket for chiropractic services and therapies while the claim is open. You do not use your medical insurance to pay for care caused by an injury sustained in a car accident. Examples of auto insurance carriers billed are State Farm, Progressive, Farmers, Travelers, AAA, and several more. If you were uninsured and injured in a no fault situation, the other driver considered at fault in the collision would be responsible for covering your care under their insurance policy.
